| Worshipping Jesus is what
everyone was created to do. Since the initial days of the Vineyard movement when
John and Carol Wimber led the first Vineyard church, worship has been a characteristically
strong element. From the very beginning of Vineyard Community Church (VCC), our
people have been reaching out to God with their whole hearts to love and experience
Him in a dynamic and intimate way. God, in His generous way, has responded to
us by giving us wonderful times together when we have felt His Presence and have
come to know Him more. This passion for worship will
always be a fundamental value of VCC. It's safe to say that God has made the joy
of worshipping Him one of the strong points in our church, providing the foundation
for everything else we do. Our heart's desire is that in God's timing we will
be able to have non-stop worship from this place, 24/7. At
VCC, God has graciously given us a wonderful variety of sincere and gifted worship
leaders and musicians to lead us into these significant, and occasionally even
astounding, times of drawing close to our Creator. At its best, our corporate
worship feels like a prelude to the eternal love songs of heaven. And almost like
a bonus, we have realized that our worship releases a dimension of power over
darkness. So we purposely devote a great deal of time in our services to worshipping
the Savior we love
because He first loved us. |
